ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Melissa, the designer and founder of Home on the Bay Interiors.

After ten rewarding years as a Dental Hygienist, I decided to take a leap and pursue my love of colour and interior design. For the past 15 years, I was the "go-to" person for friends and family who needed help choosing paint colours, furniture layouts and physically getting the project done. I loved helping them so much that I decided to become a certified colour consultant and interior painter to help others make their houses feel like home. That work brought me so much joy but I wanted to offer more services for my clients so I completed my Interior Design Diploma.

With this endeavour taking off, I feel extremely grateful for the interest in my services. I've loved working on all projects big and small. Helping my clients love their home will always be my main objective. All of the decisions throughout the process will be based on your design preferences or goals for the space (not just on trends). Colours and decor should represent you and what you love. With us all spending more time at home, we deserve to feel comfortable and happy and I'm honoured to be part of that.
